This page brings together the Terms of use and the Privacy policy of Veterinário Raiz (veterinarioraiz.com). By using the site, you agree to what is described here.
We write in plain language on purpose. The site is operated from Brazil and, where the law requires it, the text follows the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code and Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law No. 13,709/2018).

What this site is
Veterinário Raiz is a publication of informational content about animal care, training and production. The content is researched and referenced, with a visible update date.
What this site is not
It is not a veterinary clinic and does not provide veterinary services. Nothing here is a diagnosis, prescription or individual clinical advice. No information on the site replaces a consultation with a veterinarian, the only professional qualified to examine, diagnose and prescribe for your animal.
If you see signs of illness, pain, behavior change or an emergency, see a veterinarian.
Use of the content
You may read, share the link and quote the content with attribution and a link to the original page. You may not copy the content in full, republish it as your own or use it commercially without permission. The text, the “Veterinário Raiz” brand and the visual identity are protected by copyright.
Courses
Veterinário Raiz offers its own courses. Purchase, payment, access and support for each course are operated by the Kiwify platform. When you click “enroll”, you are taken to the Kiwify environment, where its own terms and privacy policy also apply.
Course certificates are professional qualification (non-degree course) certificates, as provided for in Brazilian Decree No. 5,154/2004. They serve as proof of course hours; they do not replace technical or higher education in Veterinary Medicine, whose practice is restricted to registered professionals.
The refund guarantee and access conditions for each course are those stated on the respective page and at checkout.
Links to other sites
The site may contain links to third-party pages (the course platform, official bodies cited as sources, social networks). We have no control over the content or the privacy practices of those sites, and we are not responsible for them.
Limitation of liability
The content is offered in good faith and with the care described in the editorial policy, but without any guarantee that it fits each specific case. The decisions you make based on what you read here are your responsibility. We are not liable for losses arising from using the information as if it were professional advice, because it is not.
Privacy policy
The principle: we collect the minimum
Veterinário Raiz was built to work without collecting personal data from visitors. Today, the site asks for no sign-up and has no forms. You read the content without identifying yourself. The only third-party feature is the audience measurement described below, which only sets cookies with your consent.
What is stored in your browser
A few of your preferences are saved in your own browser (via localStorage), and only there:
vr-theme— whether you chose the light or dark theme with the theme button.vr-market— whether you chose a country on the start screen, so you don’t have to choose again.vr-consent— whether you accepted or declined measurement cookies, so we don’t ask again.
This data stays on your device, is not sent to us or anyone else, and does not identify you. Clearing your browser data deletes these preferences.
Audience measurement
We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, which content is read most, which tools are used and which links people click (for example, going to a course checkout or to a partner store).
- Only with your consent. When you enter the site you see a notice with “Accept” and “Decline”, given equal prominence. Until you accept, no measurement cookie is set (we use Google’s Consent Mode, which starts with everything denied).
- In the calculators, we only record which tool was used, never the numbers you typed.
- To change your mind, clear the site data in your browser: the notice will appear again.
Some course sales pages used in paid ads measure conversions with the ad platforms’ pixels; in those cases, those platforms’ policies also apply.
Affiliate links
Some pages recommend products from stores such as Amazon and Mercado Livre, or courses from other creators. When you buy through these links, we may receive a commission, at no extra cost to you. These pages show a visible notice at the top. We only recommend what we would recommend without a commission, and the recommendation never changes the technical content of the page.
Course purchases
When you buy a course, the data you provide (name, email, payment details) is collected and processed by Kiwify, not by us. We do not see or store card data. See Kiwify’s privacy policy to learn how it handles this data.
Your rights
We do not keep a database of visitors’ personal data; measurement data is aggregated and processed by Google. Even so, if you have any privacy question or want to exercise a right under the LGPD or the law of your country (confirmation of processing, access, correction, deletion, information), write to the contact below and we will reply.

This page may be updated. The update date at the top shows the latest revision. Relevant changes, especially if we start collecting more data, will be clearly flagged.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Brazilian law. For consumer matters, the courts of the consumer’s domicile are chosen, in accordance with the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code.
